摘要: The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is an organelle where secretory or membrane proteins are correctly folded with the aid of various molecular chaperones and oxidoreductases. Only assembled enabled to reach their final destinations, which called as ER quality control (ERQC) mechanisms. ER-associated degradation (ERAD) one ERQC mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis facilitates elimination misfolded malfolded accumulated in ER. ERAD mainly consisting three processes: recognition ER, retrotranslocation (possibly) unfolded substrates from cytosol through dislocation channel, via ubiquitin-protesome system. After briefly mentioned on productive folding nascent polypeptides we here overview above processes system by highlighting novel factors such EDEM ERdj5 mammals yeasts.
