The Noetic Prism: A New Perspective on the Information, Data, Knowledge Complex

摘要: Successful knowledge management has as prerequisite an understanding of what actually constitutes ‘knowledge’. Yet the definitions in literature, and its relationships with ‘data’ ‘information’, are varied, inconsistent often contradictory. In particular traditional hierarchy datainformation-knowledge various revisions do not stand up to close scrutiny.
