摘要: We have discovered experimentally that soliton–soliton collisions in wavelength division multiplexing significantly alter the polarization states of colliding solitons. Analysis shows change is according to cross product Stokes vectors Birefringence fiber spans can turn this scattering into a significant source timing jitter.
