摘要: Background: During the last few years, gastric cancer nodal staging has been extensively revised. Lately, a new system emerged in this field with purpose of implementing prognostic stratification: lymph-node ratio (LNR). The aim study was to investigate value LNR relation survivors undergoing resection for adenocarcinoma. Methods: Off 227 patients surgical at our Department, 129 curative resections more than 15 nodes harvested were selected. calculated and stratified into 6 subgroups based on values. compared data analysis. Survivals by Kaplan-Meier method, mean follow-up period 40 months. ROC curves order analyze performance system. Results: stratification correlated stage disease, rate chemotherapy presenting relapse disease follow-up. Moreover, an increased worse overall, disease-free disease-specific survival patients. documented significant endpoints survivals. Conclusion: cancer-related survivals case series. It is reliable that might improve current thereby identification higher risk recurrence or mortality.
