摘要: Poisonous plants affecting cattle in the Brazilian Central-Western region are reviewed. The most important poisonous Brachiaria spp., which cause hepatogenous photosensitization, and Palicourea marcgravii Mascagnia pubiflora, sudden death precipitated by exercise. Enterolobium contortisiliquum, Stryphnodendron obovatum, fissuratum trees whose pods digestive signs, abortion. Vernonia mollissima V. rubricaulis acute liver necrosis, but is much more than mollisima as a of losses. Other less Solanum glaucophyllum, causes soft tissue calcification; Ipomoea carnea subsp. fistulosa, nervous signs; Senna occidentalis obtusifolia, segmental muscular necrosis; Tetrapterys multiglandulosa, cardiac fibrosis, abortion, neonatal mortality; Polygala klotzschii, lymphatic Pterodon emarginatus, tree leaves necrosis. Rare outbreaks poisoning Lantana tiliaefolia, Cestrum laevigatum, Pteridium caudatum, Crotalaria spp. also observed.
