摘要: The strong invasive freshwater mysid Limnomysis benedeni, a detritivorous–herbivorous feeder, has preference for small food particles, but also feeds on leaf litter. Here, we tested whether litter consumption by L. benedeni depends the tree species and conditioning (two types of physical biological conditioning). At conditioning, was fed with shortly leached or extensively leaves five in laboratory assays. consumed Copper Beech, Lombardy Poplar, Common Oak, especially White Willow, did not feed Black Alder leaves. depend species. Overall, 74% variation explained significant interaction factors carbon content polyphenol leaves, caused feeding strategy benedeni. For mysids to high degree naturally conditioned followed colonized one three fungi, oomycete-colonized autoclaved were at similar low levels. Our results indicate that different extents, therefore may affect degradation many invaded freshwaters.
