摘要: Abstract The moderation of pile neutrons to very low energies has been investigated. Liquid hydrogen, liquid hydrogen deuteride and methane at 20°k were found be effective moderators. After an examination the safety aspects, a volume was maintained centre reactor, velocity spectrum scattered from it measured. Appreciable observed. By this method is practicable increase considerably flux cold in beam. Thus, present experiment 10 A wavelength increased by factor 26.
