Fibromyalgia as a dysfunction of the central pain and stress response

摘要: Fibromyalgia is often understood as a syndrome mainly characterised by widespread pain and tenderness "unexplained" etiology pathogenesis. In the last years evidence growing that biological well psychosocial stress play pathogenetic key-role. Beginning with general function development of response system actual knowledge its relationship central pain-processing mechanisms reviewed. Early adverse childhood experiences can impair all over lifespan. Subsequently, research for role in etiopathogenesis fibromyalgia summarised. Psychological psychobiological consequences are outlined. Finally, an integrative model proposed, which may put several pieces biopsychosocial puzzle together. This offers approach differentiation subgroups clinical orientation developing adequate therapy individual patient.
