摘要: In the era of global environmental change, land transformation is acknowledged as a critical subject that needs to be addressed. Even though some studies have been carried out in Ghana on use and cover (LULC) change wetlands, conventional methods used were unable reveal underlying processes associated with transformation. This study employed Intensity Analysis assess LULC pattern (1985–2017) three coastal urban wetlands international importance order identify fundamental driving wetland landscape Wetlands considered for this Densu Delta, Sakumo II Muni-Pomadze Ramsar Sites. The observed overall annual first time interval; 2.42% (Densu Delta), 1.47% (Sakumo II) 2.65% (Muni-Pomadze) was smaller compared second interval 2.60% 3.55% 2.91% (Muni-Pomadze). human-induced categories continuously grew at expense natural categories. Large transitions from built-up all addition, large transition dense forest cultivated recorded Site. main process urbanization. Besides, agricultural activities also contributed substantially changes wetland.
