A case of papillary cystadenocarcinoma in the upper lip

摘要: Papillary cystadenocarcinoma is recognized by the World Health Organization (1991) Histological Typing of Salivary Glands Tumors. This lesion rarely occurs in maxillofacial region. It accounts for less than 0.2% all salivary gland tumors. We report a rare case papillary arising upper lip. The patient was 80-year-old woman with painless mass left present about 1 year. tumor excised surrounding minor glands under local anesthesia. specimen histologically diagnosed as cystadenocarcinoma, showing invasion to adjacent and rupture capsule. Because remaining tumor, additional excision performed. No sign recurrence or metastasis has been observed year after operation.
