摘要: Neutron diffraction experiments with hydrogen isotope substitution on aqueous solutions of HCl and HBr have been performed at concentrations ranging from 1:17 to 1:83 solute per water molecules, ambient conditions. Data are analyzed using the empirical potential structure refinement technique in order extract information both ion hydration shells microscopic solvent. It is found that influence these solutes less concentration dependent than salts or hydroxides. Moreover protons readily form a strong H-bond molecule upon solvation, all proportions. The majority them also bonded via longer bond another molecule, giving prepeak gOwOw. At high concentration, second may be substituted by counterion. In particular higher, an anion within distance 4.5 A.
