摘要: Background Prader–Willi syndrome (PWS) is characterised by hypotonia, hypogonadism, short stature, obesity, behavioural problems, intellectual disability, and delay in language, social motor development. There very limited knowledge about visual-motor integration children with PWS. Method Seventy-three PWS aged 7–17 years were included. Visual-motor was assessed using the Beery Integration test at start of study after 2 years. The association between age, gender, genetic subtype intelligence assessed. Results Children scored ‘very low’ (−3 standard deviations) ‘below average’ (−1 deviation) visual perception coordination compared typically developing children. higher a deletion (β = −0.170, P = 0.037), older (β = 0.222, P = 0.009) those total IQ (β = 0.784, P < 0.001). Visual (β = −0.193, P = 0.044) (β = −0.618, P < 0.001), but only (β = 0.429, P = 0.001). not associated age or gender. trend for decline over year follow-up period (P = 0.099). did change period. Conclusions Visual-motor poor PWS. Children on time-limited subtests than combined integration. Separation tasks into pure allowing sufficient time to perform might improve daily activities, both home school.
