They also suggest occurrence crustal keel beneath TTZ. In broader context geology, these imply location hypothetical Caledonian suture, marking site collision Avalonia Baltica, not along but farther SW, northern Germany southwest Another implication is that extensive Permian-Mesozoic sedimentary basins western are established above attenuated margin Baltica palaeocontinent.
