摘要: This study conducted a cross-sectional investigation of facial appearance dissatisfaction between patients before undergoing orthognathic surgery and non-surgical sample to evaluate the potential influencing factors dissatisfaction. A 354 participants completed set questionnaires concerning dissatisfaction, interpersonal pressure, media fear negative evaluation (112 patients, 242 controls). The reported higher more greater among others than control group. Moreover, regression analyses identified pressure as main on whether in or groups. associations perceptions evaluation, support possible utility strengthening social experiences psychological intervention preventing treating these appearance-concerns, especially for patients.
