摘要: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a perva-sive computing technology that can be used to improve wastemanagement by providing early automatic identification of wasteat bin level. In this paper, we have presented smart binapplication based on information self-contained in tags associatedto each waste item. The wastes are tracked bins using aRFID-based system without requiring the support an externalinformation system. Two crucial features selective sortingprocess improved approach. First, useris helped application sorting. Second, smartbin knows its content up precision composed materialsby types and percentage. It report back with status orabnormalities rest recycling chain. Complex objectslike e-waste, hazardous ones, etc. also sorted detectedfor hazards self-describing
