摘要: This study was designed to examine the effect of variations in amount preoperative training on retention deficit produced by posttraining lesions amygdaloid complex (AC). Rats received 1, 10, or 20 trials a footshock-motivated escape task 7 days before receiving N-methyl-D-aspartate AC. Inhibitory avoidance performance, which measured 4 postoperatively, indicated that increased improved AC-lesioned animals as well control animals. The performance impaired when compared with controls; however, impairment partially attenuated training. finding displayed greater locomotor activity test nonlesioned controls suggests may have contributed inhibitory performance. Two after test, some were subsequently trained continuous multiple-trial response same apparatus. AC did not block acquisition task. These findings suggest amygdala be critical site for permanent changes mediating stimulus-affect associations based extensive
