摘要: Signal detection analysis was used to examine the effects of nicotine on a visual vigilance task. Groups light, heavy and non-smokers performed 80-min task three separate occasions, received different doses each time. For all types smoker, significantly counteracted decrement in stimulus sensitivity which occurred over time placebo condition, while having no effect response bias. We argue that produced this by acting central, cholinergic pathways controlling electrocortical arousal, therefore these play role control human information processing.
