摘要: Stimulated infrared emission from uranium(III) in CaF/sub 2/ was studied using a single crystal with 0.05 mole% uranium and silver films on both ends. The cooled liquid helium excited by pulsed xenon discharge, the radiation isolated at 2.5 mu detected. Oscilloscope traces of detector response showed ratio between stimulated background light to be>1000 relaxation oscillations be present, number spikes increasing power discharge. (D.L.C.)
