摘要: BACKGROUND: Recurrence after complete resection of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is often observed. However, its influence on the prognosis patients with recurrence still unclear. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Of 468 consecutive NSCLC undergoing during 10 years, 118 experienced at distant organs. In such patients, following variables post-recurrent survival was analyzed; sex, age recurrence, disease-free interval, type, pathological (p-) stage operation, adjuvant therapy (thoracic radiation and/or chemotherapy), site and treatment against recurrence. To identify independent factors, multivariate analysis performed for which were considered to be influential in univariate analysis. RESULTS: Mean time 418 days, rate 2-years 15.7%. Multivariate revealed that female, early p-stage, younger metastasectomy intra-pulmonary metastasis significant favorable factors metastases. Adjuvant bone marginally unfavorable factors. Chemotherapy tended prolong survival. Length exhibited a positive relationship p-stage. Seven out 16 who underwent survived more than 1000 days CONCLUSIONS: Patients even organs could expect long if they are p-stage primary or resectable recurrent disease.
