摘要: The positive strand 20S RNA narnavirus persistently infects Saccharomyces cerevisiae. genome has a single gene that encodes the RNA-dependent polymerase (p91). forms ribonucleoprotein resting complexes (RNPs) with p91 and resides in cytoplasm. Here we found no host proteins stoichiometrically associated RNP by pull-down experiments. Furthermore, RNA, when expressed from vector Escherichia coli, formed RNPs absence of yeast proteins. This interaction required 3' cis signal for complex formation. Moreover, 23S another narnavirus, was E. it also its p104. Finally, both RNAs were same coli cell, they only their cognate polymerases. These results altogether indicate narnaviruses consist viral genomes Because copy number can be induced almost equivalent to those rRNAs some strains, may alleviate burden on not sequestering into RNPs. It contribute persistent infection decreasing visibility.
