Allocation, distribution, and scale: towards an economics that is efficient, just, and sustainable

摘要: Abstract The practical policy of issuing tradeable permits for depletion and pollution requires its implementation the clear separation three basic economic goals efficient allocation, equitable distribution, sustainable scale. Economic theory needs to catch up with in recognizing that scale issues cannot be reduced either allocation or distribution.
