摘要: Studies of the mechanisms solute transport through plasmalemma plant cells is often hindered by presence cell wall and other problems, such as cuticular, stomatal free space resistances, encountered when working with complex tissues. Isolated protoplasts in theory represent a far simpler system than intact tissue which should allow studies at cellular rather level. Although isolated from higher tissues cultures have been used experimental systems for many years, their general physiological state, especially regard to membrane properties, has only recently investigated any detail. Since not previously reviewed, aim this report briefly assess our current knowledge outline some problems may be studies. The existing methods study will also discussed new assay described. Some preliminary results on uptake alkaloid drugs presented.
