摘要: We have analysed genetic variation at 23 microsatellite loci in a global sample of 16 ethnically and geographically diverse human populations. On the basis their ancestral heritage geographic locations, studied populations can be divided into five major groups, viz. African, Caucasian, Asian Mongoloid, American Indian Pacific Islander. With respect to distribution alleles loci, large variability exists among examined However, with exception Indians Islanders, within continental group show greater degree similarity. Phylogenetic analyses based on allele frequencies that first split present-day had occurred between Africans all non-African populations, lending support an African origin modern Gene diversity coefficient gene estimated from is, general, larger for remained isolated probably smaller effective sizes, such as Islanders. These also demonstrate component total diversity, which is attributed groups significantly than each group. The empirical data presented this work reaffirm evolutionary histories extent using loci.
