摘要: Abstract This paper describes an analysis of the parameters that influence adherence properties between flax fibres and PLLA. Microdroplet debonding tests have been used, together with Atomic Force Scanning Electron Microscopy. The apparent interfacial shear strength flax/PLLA is significantly higher than glass/PP similar to glass/unsaturated polyester. Comparison results for glass without release agent indicate a large contribution thermal residual stresses interface properties. multi-layer nature vegetal affects mechanisms partial peeling fibre noted. cohesion cell-wall must therefore also be considered. A water treatment (72 h at 23 °C) shown result in small drop tensile but significant increase friction stress. Drying 14 h 105 °C reduces Young's modulus failure fibre/matrix adhesion by 20%. More extensive observed after drying, indicating drying wall cohesion.
