摘要: Purpose/Methods In an African American woman with the human T-cell lymphotropic virus type I associated uveitis, clinical and ocular findings were correlated detection of viral genome by polymerase chain reaction, antigen in cultured peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Results/Conclusions High levels gene expression multiple samples over a two-year period strongly support diagnosis uveitis. Systemic corticosteroid therapy resulted partial remission.
