The includes the steps of receiving (CKD) from a kiln; heating collected CKD; forming gas stream vaporized metal and CKD by sufficient to separate at least one heavy create cleaned stream; providing water soluble alkaline-earth polysulfide; combining with sulfide combined removing portion stream.
