摘要: OBJECTIVES: To explore the views of experts about development and validation a robotic surgery training curriculum, how this should be implemented. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An international expert panel was invited to structured session for discussion. The study mixed design, including qualitative quantitative components based on focus group interviews during European Association Urology (EAU) Robotic Section (ERUS) (2012), EAU (2013) ERUS meetings. After introduction aims, principles current status curriculum development, responses were elicited. content analysis recorded generated themes discussed at second meeting, where consensus achieved each theme. This discussion also underwent analysis, used draft proposal. At third questionnaire disseminated attendees assess level agreement with key points. RESULTS: In all, 150 min (19 pages) transcribed (21 316 words). Themes agreed by two raters (median κ 0.89) they included: need (inter-rater 0.85); identification learning needs (κ 0.83); contents 0.81); an overview available curricula 0.79); settings ((κ 0.89); assessment trainers 0.92); requirements certification patient safety universally standardised 0.78).
