摘要: Cathodic protection voltages are used to resist the damage pipes or cables from electrolytic effects. However, localised fields can lead stray currents and may result in corrosion it is therefore desirable detect analyse those currents. Frequently there several area of interest so necessary distinguish between pipes. Therefore cathodic voltage on modulated, with different having modulations. This modulation be applied using an interrupter. Orthogonal modulations non-unitary aspect ratios improve discrimination whilst maximising energy content pattern. The analysis improved when interrupters synchronised each other repeating same time-base. synchronisation achieved external time signal such as GPS. An interrupter which this regard also proposed, powered itself.
