摘要: High-level query languages are an attractive interface for sensor networks, potentially relieving application programmers from the burdens of distributed, embedded programming. In research to date, however, proposed applications such interfaces have been limited simple data collection and aggregation schemes. this paper, we present initial results that extend TinyDB sensornet engine support more sophisticated analyses, focusing on three applications: topographic mapping, wavelet-based compression, vehicle tracking. We use these examples motivate feasibility implementing sensing in a query-based system, some questions raised by agenda.
