摘要: This paper develops a semi-endogenous growth model for analysing the intertemporal effects of structural reforms in Southern European countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece). The follows product-variety paradigm setting, includes disaggregation labour into different skill groups. We use comprehensive set indicators order to calibrate important macroeconomic ratios levels productivity employment. Our results show that yield significant economic gains medium long run. point importance product market related education tax as most promising areas policy interventions. also argues placing more emphasis on which is key upgrading force, especially these where share low skilled among highest euro area.
