摘要: A ceramic armor is disclosed in several embodiments. In a first embodiment, metal base plate has frame assembled on it having central opening into which the material and stiffening are placed. cover placed over to enclose all sides. second an open area that two crossing walls define four sub-chambers. Four sets of respective sub-chambers covering them. further plurality cavities mechanically formed it. tile or each cavity frame. The used encapsulate may, if desired, comprise Titanium alloy such as Ti-6Al-4V, may Silicon Carbide, Boron Tungsten Diboride, Aluminum Oxide Nitride. preferably made Ti—TiB cermet composite but also be comprised WC, TiB2, Al2O3 B4C. hot pressing procedure carried out cause plastically deform about encapsulated material.
