摘要: Described herein are a system and method of training motor vehicle operator in crash-avoidance skills. Critical skills comprise actively scanning driving environment to identify, recognize, remember what is seen; adjusting speed position accommodate road conditions, visibility, traffic; proactively identifying responding potential hazards before the become immediate hazards; recognizing, assessing, risks; creating space cushion order identify maintain possible escape routes; minimizing visual, manual, cognitive distractions. Training comprises at least one interactive simulation which use technology by impacts performance operator. The computer-based learning tutorials, point-of-view simulations, conjoint experienced driver mentor/inexperienced trainee activities, as well objective testing operators on knowledge.
