摘要: Cadherins and catenins are the central cell–cell adhesion molecules in adherens junctions (AJs). This chapter reviews knowledge concerning role of cadherins epithelial cancer examines published literature demonstrating changes expression function these proteins human association with patient outcomes. The also covers mechanistic studies aiming at uncovering significance cadherin catenin potential molecular mechanisms responsible for causal AJs initiation progression.
