摘要: The objective of this paper is to analyse the dynamics networks in which new knowledge emerges and through it exchanged. Our conjecture that structure a network cannot be divorced from the dynamics underpinning its activities. In so doing we look beyond studies based on the assumption exogenous and delve into mechanisms stimulate their creation and transformation. first part adopts functional perspective views as constructs aimed at coordination knowledge; accordingly, an emerging property reflects the employment agreed strategy achieve collective scope. second these themes are articulated in relation medical innovation enriched by empirical study long-term evolution of research Ophthalmology. This exercise highlights connection between changes scientific and practical reconfigurations epistemic over forty-year period. By mapping different structures capture variety gateways – is, network participants well pathways inter-organisational collaborations. goal analyse how patterns interaction emerge transform time.
