摘要: Method and systems for protecting data on a mobile handset when remotely activated by user involve encrypting the using an encryption key, storing encrypted data, deleting non-encrypted along with key. Data may also be uploaded to server via cellular call use in backing up handset. A application configures receive activation commands from encrypt, upload or download data. The key is either received generated communicated server. Mock files stored enable applications function normally after have been encrypted.
