摘要: In this paper, we present Pade approximation boundary conditions for domain truncation in time analysis using finite element (FEM) beam propagation method. The method removes the number of unknowns required conventional perfectly matched layer (PML). line integral resulted from FEM discretization is treated by solving one dimensional Helmholtz wave equation at ports. square root solution handled approximation. A waveguide example introduced to measure Reflection proposed condition. comparison between our approach and PML shows that produces reflection far less than PML.
