摘要: Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the addition topical mitomycin-C (MMC) application wound site after endoscopic treatment laryngotracheal stenosis (LTS) resulted in measurable improvement clinical outcomes. Study Design and Setting: A retrospective chart review patients with LTS treated by senior author over a 6-year period was performed. groups were stratified into two main categories: 1) alone 2) + MMC. "symptom-free" interval determined (in months) for each subject using two-tailed t test statistical analysis control/study groups. Results: Sixty-seven procedures performed 36 mean 1.86 surgical treatments per patient. duration symptom-free 4.9 months endoscopic-only group 23.2 receiving observed MMC significantly longer than control subjects (P = 1 x 10 -11 ). Conclusions: results suggest that an effective adjuvant LTS. provide strong supporting evidence
