摘要: Introduction The past few years have seen an increase in research interest about resilience after specific traumatic events. One of the more interesting developments peer-reviewed literature topic is a broadening term “resilience,” extending it from its original formulation pertaining to individual experiences and reactions (Bonanno, 2004; Butler et al., 2007; de Mel 2008; Ganzel 2008) considerations populations or groups who collectively experience events (Bruneau 2003; Kendra & Wachtendorf, Vale Campanella, 2005; Norris 2008). This chapter focuses on particular challenges that arise when considering communities context experienced events, typically called disasters. extension referred as “multilevel” conception resilience, recognizing this both “individual level” “community phenomenon.
