摘要: Background Wolbachia are bacterial endosymbionts of many arthropod species in which they manipulate reproductive functions. The distribution these bacteria the Drosophila ovarian cells at different stages oogenesis has been amply described. pathways along Wolbachia influences have been, so far, little studied. It is known that abundant somatic stem cell niche germarium. A checkpoint, where programmed death, or apoptosis, can occur, located region 2a/2b germarium, comprises cells. Here we address question whether not presence germarium affect frequency cyst apoptosis checkpoint.
