摘要: Lake Baikal’s ecosystem is among the oldest lacustrine ecosystems on planet with a diverse and unique flora fauna. Amphipods (Amphipoda, Crustacea) are one of most groups lake’s invertebrate animals. The lake contains more than 350 species subspecies amphipods, each these play significant role in food webs. However, their relationships microorganisms poorly investigated, which leaves gaps understanding relations between aquatic crustaceans bacteria. We studied diversity specific group culturable (Actinobacteria), possible deepwater endemic amphipods present Baikal. found that while 73% isolated strains belong to widely distributed genus Streptomyces, 27% isolates rare genera such as Amycolatopsis, Micromonospora, Pseudonocardia. Fifty-three percent studied strains expressed antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria possess polyketide synthase (PKS) genes. Thus, Actinobacteria associated might both protect pathogenic be an untapped source new natural products biosynthetic potential.
