摘要: In the present study, authors sought to explore, in greater depth, impact that an HPV vaccination has on college-aged women's reproductive and sexual health. Qualitative interviews were conducted with 30 HPV-vaccinated college women analyzed for recurring themes. Although findings revealed HPV-related knowledge was suboptimal, most correctly believed they still at risk after having received vaccination. Women indicated vaccine made them more aware of sexually transmitted infections prompted continue take care their reported did not influence condom use or birth control choices, obtaining Pap smears important.
