摘要: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a relatively new imaging technique capable of recording cross-sectional images transparent and turbid structures with micrometer-scale resolution. Originally developed for biomedical applications, this also has great potential non-destructive material characterisation testing. Polarisation-sensitive (PS) OCT recent extension classical that measures birefringence properties sample, which, however, not yet been applied to materials science. We present glass-fibre-enforced epoxy resin compounds the detection dry spots, where did properly penetrate glass-fibre structure. Furthermore, we demonstrate PS-OCT different materials. The mapping strain fields samples under uniaxial non-uniform external stress flow patterns in injection-moulded plastic parts could be demonstrated first time.
