摘要: The present study was an attempt to find alternative use for the leached residue generated after selective extraction of Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) ions during reduction-roasting ammoniacal leaching Indian Ocean sea nodules, so that latter may be used as adsorbent removal phosphate from aqueous media. Physicochemical characterization revealed a complex mixture oxides mainly manganese iron along with MnCO3. Adsorption studies water-washed (WSNR), varying pH, ion concentration, WSNR dosage, heat treatment presence interfering anions in solution, indicated (P) uptake increased increasing heat-treatment temperature attain maximum value at 400 °C pH ca. 5.0, but thereafter decreased on further. adsorption data were best fitted by Freundlich isotherm model. Desorption showed ...
