摘要: Abstract This paper presents some results from a totally new and powerful fusion between automated, digital photoelastic techniques mathematical analysis of crack experiencing closure. In essence, real-time stress field data is acquired fitted to Muskhelishvili complex potential model loaded The fit entails optimisation multiple variables via memetic algorithm, which combines genetic algorithm local search. From observations made in this work, it proposed that the plastic enclave around tip will shield full influence applied field. Furthermore, effects ‘back stress’ are overcome by tensile load way that, often, cannot be readily correlated with contact length, wake force, or compliance.
