摘要: Abstract A computer simulation model was developed to predict metal retention in constructed mine drainage wetlands. The emphasized the processes of advection, diffusion, and precipitation/sedimentation both surface subsurface state variables. calibrated verified using data from five wetlands Pennsylvania Ohio, USA. Simulation a proposed wetland southeastern Ohio performed baseline data, collected for 18 months prior construction as inputs. Predicted ranges 0 93% aluminum 50 99% iron wetland, depending on season whether or flow is used. Diffusion metals water sediments limits low pH while precipitation rates column limit circumneutral
