Med., 1987, 152 (3), 291-300-Although natural killer cells are thought to play a major role surveillance against tumor development, no systemic studies on their activities have been reported familial polyposis coli which cancer always develops at an early age. Natural were studied 14 patients with coli. Peripheral blood lymphocytes from showed normal cytotoxicities K562 cells, P4788 derived colon Chang cells. The number of peripheral identified by immunofluorescence antibody method that gut tissue immunoperoxidase staining using anti-HNK-1 monoclonal comparable those seen controls. These results led the following conclusion: it seems unlikely deficiency or impairment activity is one backgrounds for development subsequent malignant change adenomas
