摘要: Abstract Globally and yearly, individual hazards hazard interrelations have the potential to result in socio-economic losses. Here, this critical review, we use grey- peer-review literature identify compare current research available for quantification of interrelations, focussing on 14 different natural hazards. We first provide a historical context quantitative single multi-hazard assessment. then construct database with 146 references related interrelations. our trends interrelation from these group into five types: triggering, change condition, compound, independence mutually exclusive. Our review identifies 19 modelling methods quantify interrelationships which cluster three broad approaches: stochastic, empirical, mechanistic. synthesize results classification using two matrices illustrate practice 24 between hazards, one cascading (temporal order event) compound (two or more acting together). Finally, examples applications each approaches defined. believe that will lead better understanding methodologies sub-disciplines focus thus aiding cross-disciplinary risk events.
