Positive Magnetoresistance of Thin Gold Films at Low Temperatures

摘要: The electrical resistance of ultra thin gold films increases as the temperature is lowered below 6 K. magnetoresistance positive and anisotropic. A logarithmic dependence on magnetic field has been observed. results are inqualitative agreement with recent theories electron localization in two-dimensional systems.
