摘要: The aim of this study was to examine the expression serotonin receptors in patients with breast cancer and explore their utility as diagnostic prognostic markers. Immunohistochemical analysis performed (5-HT) receptor subtypes 1A, 1B, 2B 4 a tissue microarray containing tumor specimens from 102 patients. Statistical correlate these proteins regard clinical parameters. We found that all four (5-HTRs) exhibited different patterns specimens. In general strong staining for 5-HTR1A observed on membrane cells but it detected only cytoplasm non-malignant cells. 5-HTR1B 5-HTR2B were predominantly expressed cells, while 5-HTR4 exclusively nucleus malignant Correlation revealed significant correlation estrogen receptor-α (ER-α) ER-α progesterone (PR). conclusion, subcellular localization 5-HTRs may reflect role progression.
