摘要: Abstract Oxidoreduction reactions of coenzyme Q as catalyzed by beef heart mitochondria and derivative particles have been studied. Coenzyme is rapidly reduced substrates, such pyruvate plus malate, β-hydroxybutyrate, DPNH succinate. It also oxidized molecular oxygen in the presence mitochondrial enzymes. The reduction pyridinoprotein substrates inhibited Amytal well antimycin A. latter compound inhibits oxidation cyanide. possible position relative to other members electron transport system discussed.
